For the first time since 2011, BFCN will not be hosting their annual fundraising event. We are all sad that we are not able to gather and share food, drinks, music, and laughter as we have traditionally done so in the past. However, we at Mindful Parenting Academy still want to find a way to celebrate and continue awarding Black students with funding to pursue their post-secondary education. Therefore we are inviting you to this game changing Online Parenting Bootcamp to help fund the BFCN Scholarship Fund. BFCN goal is to raise $5000 by March 31st.

I'M A RECOVERED YELLER: I have 3 children (a 27 year old King, a 12 year old Prince and my 9 year old princess) I've been there, in the same shoes as parents who struggle with temper tantrums, kids not listening, whining, sibling battles and more.

This is the catalyst for developing Mindful Parenting ToolKit, it was my own realization that I had turned into the “yeller” that I swore I would never be. I became determined to find a better way. A healthier, happier means of raising great kids without losing control. I immersed myself in the study and principles of Adlerian Psychology and Positive Discipline.

What I learned, was life-changing, Family changing and Powerful. What I knew, however, from my experience working in the community was that parents needed an easy-to-understand process and actionable steps so they can feel composed and confident guiding their children to greater achievements. This is where I knew I could make a difference.

Br.Kofi is a Freedom & Alignment Coach, focused in the areas of Holistic Health & Wellness, and serves as a Reiki Energy Healerk and the founder of Cosmic Wellness Holistic Health. Kofi offers workshops in Qi Qong (‘Chee Kung’), Meditation, Self-Care, Nutrition Corporate Holistic Health and Wellbeing, Proactive fathering and community development for Non-Profit Organizations across Toronto.

Br.Kofi is dedicated to not only building his business but in volunteering his time in youth development, sharing his skills and experiences with community youth groups across the GTA. Br.Kofi is also the founder of "Lions and Cubs", a small non-profit organization for young men, which focuses on Leadership and Self-Empowerment.

In addition, he is the current Executive Director of "Wisdom Green Earth", a non-profit organization committed to using the arts and nature to positively impact the lives of community.
